Monthly roundup of video game music releases on streaming services. We learn that 253 have been published on Spotify and co. since January 1st of 2026, which marks a 27% increase compared to the same period of 2025. Other data are included, like the longest album or predominant music genre.

I've updated my VGM DATA & TRENDS page to better reflect the monthly evolution of the releases on streaming services. You can now browse the data from January and February 2026, and compare it to the same period last year. Expect this kind of rundown every month from now on!
