Inspectors General must be independent & nonpartisan. Reports say DOL IG Anthony D’Esposito plans to run for Congress. I asked if he’s running or doing campaign activity while serving as IG. He refused to answer. That is concerning given reports he put his mistress and fiancee’s daughter on payroll.
It’s been a turbulent tax season at the IRS.
And today, Democrats are demanding answers.

The President's speech was just what we expected, all dishonesty & self-aggrandizement while he continues to ignore the real problems Americans are facing because of HIS decisions.
I refuse to listen to any more of his reckless and hateful rhetoric. That is why I’m not attending tonight’s State of the Union.
Trump’s second term has been disastrous. He has forced us into an affordability crisis, terrorized American cities, and stripped millions from health care coverage and food assistance.
I’m boycotting the State of the Union, but Becky Roberts will attend as my honorary guest. She’s one of 22 million Americans facing higher premiums after Trump and Republicans let ACA tax credits expire and cut Medicaid. I invited her so Trump must face the people hurt by his policies.

That is why I’m proud to reintroduce the Southeast Asian Deportation Relief Act to provide critical protections for the more than 15,000 SEAA refugees living under final orders of removal and establish a pathway for the more than 2,000 refugees who have already been deported.
Trump has deported more Southeast Asian Americans (SEEAs) in a single year than any other president, forcing individuals who have lived here for decades to leave their communities and families and relocate to unsafe or unfamiliar countries. Without action, this injustice will only worsen.
