Anti-Trans Democrats Blown Out In North Carolina Primary Election Anti-trans Democrat Nasif Majeed lost to Veleria Levy, who ran on a pro-LGBTQ+ platform. Other conservative Democrats lost as well on primary day.

1. In yesterday's primary elections, anti-transgender Democrats found out the hard way why you don't throw transgender people under the bus.

Two anti-trans dems lost their primaries, including one that cast the deciding veto override vote, in blowouts.

In the last decade, the Atlantic has not platformed a single trans person to speak about issues affecting them or the broader trans community. Not a single one. Yet, they have monthly screeds by Helen Lewis and endless money to pay random transphobic grifters to pump stuff like this out.

The fact that the phrase "gender diversity where relevant" is being included in this right now ... just imagine if that was the case for ANY other demographic identity of a suspect in a situation like this ...

Texas AG Ken Paxton has declared that it is illegal for mental health providers and therapists to treat trans youth. It means that trans youth will be denied access to any mental healthcare that isn't conversion therapy. Paxton also threatens parents of trans youth with child abuse investigations.

When clinics started putting out research that 97.5% of trans youth who socially transitioned maintained a stable gender identity for 5 years, the reaction was never going to be, "I guess this isn't a phase." It was always going to be to ban social transition.

As Kagan notes in her dissent, the Court opted not to hear the due process parental rights argument against bans on gender-affirming medical care in Skrmetti, basically setting up a regime where parents can force their trans children back into the closet but cannot help them out of it

This court specifically avoided bringing up challenges on bans for gender affirming care for trans youth on parental rights grounds so they can weaponize parental rights against trans youth while stripping them from the supportive parents of trans youth. It's obscene.

Human rights must stand above politics.

I spoke in the Legislature about why dignity cannot be conditional. Rights are rarely lost all at once, they’re weakened little by little.

In B.C., human rights are not negotiable. Now or ever.

This would ban my books, and any other book with trans themes, from public schools. PLEASE call your House Reps and say: NO ON H.R. 7661!

A day later and no major national news org has covered what they're doing in Kansas.

This is the flip side of the hyper focus on trans issues by the right. The national media ignores what's actually being done to trans people.

This erasure is what contributes to the persecution.
