I was always lucky for my commutes. In my first job, it was just a 20min drive through the Devon coutryside. When I lived in London, my office was only a 10 minute tube trip away from home. So nothing like what you are facing.

A dry morning after a very wet night. The magnolia in the garden is slowly opening. Usually it first opens on the side that gets the most sun. This year the flowers are opening in a more random way.

A freshly cooked keto beef curry. Moist browned mince in a spicy homemade curry sauce. Onions and a diced red pepper can also be seen

Just cooked a keto beef curry from scratch and it smells amazing. Really pleased with how it’s turned out and so much better than a jar of sauce I usually use.
There’s enough for three more portions. Which I’ll box and freeze once it’s cooled down

How about this! A floating carrier on test at Instow.
Instow was the primary site for testing Allied amphibious equipment (including DUKWs and tanks) before the 1944 D-Day landings. The RM testing unit is still operational today
