I coded @holdonbot.bsky.social as a fun Friday night project: ask it a question and it will reply with a wise answer taken from the lyrics of Wilson Phillips’ “Hold On”
Page 34: "An anonymous government is no government at all. It cannot be held accountable. A masked agent freely uses force without justifying his actions, and the public cannot name him to challenge his conduct."
Is it even really possible to self host email anymore?

If you’re a journalist who’s still on Twitter, from now on in your writing you have to replace “the American people want” with “troll bots in Eastern Europe demand”
Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.
You want a military tradition worth venerating? We took immigrants who grew up in rough neighborhoods and the culture of football and ran through the SS like shit through a goose.

Chatted with a cat from Sesame Workshop last night and pleased to confirm for fellow nostalgic dorks that, not only is “The Monster at the End of This Book” still in print, it is the only Sesame Street book that has never been out of print.
The kids are gonna be all right.
