The same large bumblebee on a plant with many white trumpet flowers clustered together. I think it’s white hyacinth.

First rescue of the year. Sadly I don’t think she’ll live long. Missing her rear left leg and I think her stinger too. She was very angry and throwing her legs up at me in warning but no sting even though I carried her a long way (and picked her up twice. I left her on daisies to pick my kids up)

I did my first ever book fair! I sold 2 paperbacks and 3 bookmarks, which meant I made more than my table fee cost, woo!!

Better than that though was the networking. I was between two lovely SFF authors and another author came over to let us know about a local book event.

ME/CFS says rest now😴

Being nervous about my first market today seems to have made me not sleep well (lots of weird dreams) which means the neurodiversity is raging today. I’m so hyperrrrrrr like in the way I am at night before bed. Will be good for talking to people. Might not be good for making sense.

I promise I proofread my book better than I do my posts.

I just finished reading @danhanly.com ‘s unpublished book The Revered and the Reviled and omg it’s so good. Agents, you need to pay attention to this one when it comes your way! The setup and mirroring in it is skilful and the ending is so bittersweet 😭

There are other books called Echoes of Chaos, several of them having come out since I started using the name in 2020. Should I pick a new name? But it fits so perfectly 😭

If so, I hope they do. Especially as I’m pretty sure studies have shown trans athletes get no advantage.

Having a massive headache again makes me wish I could focus on audiobooks. I’d get so much reading done.
