I did speak with an officer about such things, but there wasn't enough evidence. No bruises, no texts saying nasty things, he knew what he was doing and how to hide things. How to twist everything so that I'm crazy and lying. He is very good at manipulating people to get what he wants.

she got home from school to find a pile of leaves taller than she was! she'd never seen one before Mama smiled and said, "go ahead, get in there." she grinned and backed up ran fast, faster, then - jumped as high as she could landing in soft, crunchy leaves she stood and, laughing, tossed handfuls of leaves upwards like an offering to nature a thank you for the immense joy of jumping into a pile of leaves for the very first time
