just tried out lima (a VM for running Linux on a Mac) and it's so much nicer to use than vagrant https://lima-vm.io
to use it, I just had to run:
$ limactl start default
(optionally edit config file, but you don't have to)
$ lima

Distance running is no joke, especially at the D1 level. You train all year, running upwards of 60 to 90 miles a week, and between XC, indoor track and outdoor track, you get to race 12 times if you’re lucky. Enjoy the process never meant so much! 🏃♂️🏃♀️
