Big news! Pushover for iOS has not won an Apple App Store Award
apps.apple.com/us/story/id1...
If you burned through Pushover message credits this morning because of Cloudflare, reach out and I'll give you extra capacity for the rest of the month
If anyone has any recommendations for a non-Cloudflare global load balancing service, please let me know.
It must have DDoS mitigation, IP blocking through an API, custom TLS configuration (private cert and TLS versions), and health checks to remove failed nodes.
Tried AWS and Fastly but no good.
What are some other apps you're still using after 13 years?
hi i just signed up and i get this error with my script, i think the problem is on your side can you please fix it
p.s. i have never programmed before
π
No, just Teams
Subject: [Pushover] Account deletion: Other (Please specify)
Feedback: The app is not user friendly...
AND...your company has a BLUESKY account and NO X.COM account. That tells me EVERYTHING I need to know about you: You do NOT support free speech. That is a deal breaker for me!!!
A dashboard in Grafana showing the state of a 3D printer. It shows the following: - Current printer state ("Printing" in large letters) - Current print progress (93%, in a gauge) - Current time remaining (4 minutes, in a gauge) - Current nozzle temperature (220 degrees c, with a line graph behind it) - Current Bed temperature (55 degrees c, with a line graph behind it) - A live picture from the printer - A timeseries graph of temperatures, showing the actual and target temps for the bed and nozzle. - A timeseries graph of fan speeds
A screenshot from the pushover app. Under a large "All messages" heading there's an entry titled "Printer status", with the text "The printer has finished". Below it there is an embedded picture showing the inside of a 3D printer.
Came across this nice Go library for interfacing with Bambu Lab printers: github.com/torbenconto/...
I already had a Go service doing home automation stuff, now it has printer support. It turns the light off automatically, reports metrics, and even notifies me of state changes via @pushover.net.
We love @pushover.net , wondering if someone has a pushover/Bluesky syndication...
Shout out to @pushover.net for doing one thing, really well
AT&T is ending its e-mail-to-text service on June 17th
If you still need something to send messages to mobile phones from e-mail, give Pushover a try

We _just_ started integrating Pushover for alerting majorpager.com. Big fans over here.
It does allow HTTP if you are only sending to your own user key (the one that owns the app token)
Tell me some neat things you're using Pushover for
Just don't send the parameter
"One-time purchase" means "one-time purchase"

3D printed device with switches for baby breastfeeding tracking and nap tracking.
Internals of an electronic device with an Adafruit Feather ESP32-C6 and small LiPo battery
Screenshot of pushover app showing notifications from the breastfeeding tracker device
The pee/poop tracker has been great, so now I have made a new widget. Breastfeeding and baby on/off state tracker. Same principle, notifications via @pushover.net , Adafruit ESP32-C6 this time.
Notifications cleared yes, messages deleted no
But clearing notifications on iOS without a 2nd push notification showing a new message requires a silent push notification which iOS heavily throttles so it's not very useful unfortunately
We now have "heartbeat" or inactivity timeout monitors available for Pushover for Teams subscribers, allowing alerts to be generated when devices fail to ping our API after a configured amount of time
Please reach out if you're a Teams subscriber and want to try it out before general release
