Got us a hammock weβre going to be fucking living
Weβve also done a fire in the fire pit we dug in the back which was really really niceβ¦. I want to have so many outdoor dinner parties this year
Iβm on a fb marketplace hunt to get us some solar lighting for the yard and folding patio furniture (the only access to the yard is through a really narrow space so we cant have anything big).
we have two raised beds of veggies and one raised bed seeded with lots of native wildflowersβ¦ I really canβt wait to see how it all does and Iβm so delighted by every new tiny sprout popping up. And also I have a vermicompost set up that a coworker gifted me so I also have worms to tend to!!
Truly so excited about my garden kgkgkg I get home from work and run to the back to check on my wildflower bed and see how everything is doing
fuck, Iβm sorry, I canβt compete with this

Each one of those three missiles costs 33% more than the annual budget of the national park where I work.
Why do I have to pretend that I'm going to print something in order to save it as a PDF. Why do I have to engage in a little ruse.
Picture of Marjane Satrapi alongside a quote from her. The quote reads: The world is not divided into countries. The world is not divided between East and West. You are American, I am Iranian, we don't know each other, but we talk together and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you. And our governments are very much the same... - Marjane Satrapi, Iranian-French graphic novelist
Thinking about this quote from Persepolis creator Marjane Satrapi again.
Every major disaster in this country over my lifetime has been self inflicted by right wing ideologues with just enough complicit or inert Democrats to enable or ratify them. That's why we've been on this doom trajectory for the last ~50 years and it'll keep getting worse if that doesn't change
it took meβ¦. So long to go to nyc for friend time lol I wonβt let it take as long to go back
Honestly very fun Iβd be very into this
the human body is so fuckin needy. you buy groceries, you cook some food, you do some dishes, and then, whatβ¦youβre supposed to cook more food? do more dishes? and a few days later buy more groceries? and guess what comes after that. insane. itβs never enough
Did not get a picture because this happened while I was driving, but saw a billboard celebrating Alysa Liu on my commute todayβ¦ They put her name in text that was striped like her hair and it called her βOakland goldβ. God bless the Bay Area.

βHey boss, are you sure Flamigo is more popular than Charizard, and people arenβt just misspelling βFlamingoβ on Google?β
βDonβt be ridiculous. Of course Flamigo is more popular than Charizard, Mewtwo, Eevee, and Snorlax. Send the email.β

Wonderful first camping trip of the year!!!

Reading ghost stories from a century ago a lot of them begin like "Seeing as I was beset by Nerves, my doctor prescribed I travel the Continent for three months" oh word yeah that does sound helpful. I didn't know that was an option
