True. Though I often have my regrets, at least that leads to lessons that will likely carry over into future works, as opposed to dwelling on a single piece for way too long and learning next to nothing.

they have to pay more than they probably should have just to run a game that could have done just fine on lower specs with more careful considerations. Especially considering how much we were all complaining about how expensive the Switch 2 was not too long ago.

True, but I think companies could stand to take better care in making sure their games are better optimized for the intended hardware, rather than just taking "we have better hardware now" for granted; because it ultimately comes out of the consumers pockets at the end of the day when...

Development is always this weird balancing act between good hardware and well optimized software, so it may not be entirely the Switch 1's fault that some games ran like shit.

Think of your mind like a muscle, push it too hard and you risk "damaging" it; maybe even permanently. It's just as important to rest your mind as it is to rest your body. Heck, I'll even often go days without drawing at all if I'm just not feeling it after a particularly unproductive session.

I should have thought to do this sooner because just knowing professional wrestling terms has helped me find the exact poses I need a lot faster. I just didn't even think to look into stuntmen lingo...

Had an unfortunate conversation with someone who thinks they have to use Gen AI for a demo and crowd funding for their Card game because they are dead set on the idea you HAVE to have good art for the release for it to be successful and they are set that they need to spend around 500k on art for it.

The most I was able to do was edit maps and character sprites, but even that took such an exhausting amount of effort to do without breaking anything that I just gave up after a while😅.

IDK what it's like nowadays but I found rom hacking can be painfully restrictive unless one REALLY knows there way around how those games are structured. Granted, there's a lot one can do should they get a handle on it.

To combat Decision Paralysis, I compiled all of the suggestions I received so far and placed them in a randomizer wheel. This was the first one to come up and so naturally I did it first.🙂

That said, Yuyu Hakushou was a pretty big influence on me so this was very nostalgic.
