Yeah, seems like the Kepler Interactive model is fairly promising going forward. I think an even more equitable version is possible -- would be interesting to see a large publishing cooperative made up of several member studio cooperatives. Not an easy thing to set up in the US, though.

A few years ago, nazis would use obscure dogwhistles for some level of plausible deniability (ok hand, milk glass emoji, etc). Now that they're in power they play the same kinds of rhetorical games, but they no longer need the deniability to be plausible at all. It's kind of fascinating to watch
