I wholeheartedly agree, but that’s not relevant to my point. It’s expensive to maintain two residences as congresspeople have to do, and decreasing salary means that only those who have no need for the paycheck can run for office.
Wouldn’t that mean that only the most financially independent could afford to be in Congress, and decrease the representation of middle- and lower-class?

Definitely doable! Working as a product manager, there are frequent opportunities to make or influence decisions that can either support values like equity, inclusion, and accessibility, or not. You might need to choose a company that supports these things though.
