Highly recommend getting dolled up to boost your mood. Short(ish) skirt, long jacket, 10/10.

I used to be bothered more by perfumes, but I'd rather that that smell people's funk. I feel like my nose is getting more sensitive to it, yuck.

Some people are walking around smelling musty 😬

Weekly PSA after returning from my grocery run. Some of you need to shower more frequently. This is perrenial advice.

Currently reading The hunger we pass down and I was immediately pulled in. Up next Oxfor Soju Club. I may not make it through the full long list before winners declared, but out of the short list, I'm rooting for Terry Punchout or Cure for Drowning, they were both great and reads I'd recommend.

It's different this time, Joss Richard. I'm not much of a rom-comm girly but this was nicely done. As it went on I kept feeling like when a horror story character runs up the stairs and you want to scream about June. Some racy bits and love wins, but some therapy sessions could have avoided this.

Never been better, Leanne Toshiko Thompson. What a funny and sweet book about mental health, healing, and friendships. If "My Best Friend's Wedding" started in a psych ward. I loved all the carachters, and absolutely loved how this unravelled. Fresh and fun.

Heated Rivalry, Rachel Reid. I wanted to finish season 1 of the show before diving into the series, which I promise to read, in order, but whew, watch the show, the world is terrible and we needed this series so so bad, thank you Rachel.

Searching for Terry Punchout, Tyler Hellard. More East Coast content please. We're the best coast, I didn't have to know anything about hockey to love the atlantic small town universe the author created in a fun and irreverant way.

Foe, Ian Reid - A futuristic story with twists and turns with black mirror vibes (it is now a tv series? movie?). A satisfying page turner.

The cure for drowning, by Logan Paylor. This was a true delight. The idea of fae and transness made me think just a little of Fayne by Anne-Marie MacDonald, but this was more of a wartime romance with a twist. I loved this story that managed to give all of us a bit of victory.

A Minor Chorus my Billy Ray Belcourt - Read this one a year ago, Billy Ray always puts a poetic lense on reflections on his lived experience as a queer/2Spirit Indigenous person, loved it.

I have to say that the older I get the truer this gets, but there is nothing better than that feeling at the end of a long day when you crawl into bed and under a cozy duvet. Truly the best!

I mean - It was awful in Moncton. The highways were basically closed from 4 pm to this morning and my stretch of road didn't get plowed before lunch. Municipal buses delayed opening too so you know it was bad. Not sure where they draw the line on what closes and what doesn't but.

One of the most annoying things im the universe is being itchy when you get out of the shower. Like it is a race to moisturize to avoid going insane from the itching. Very very rude
