Students at Texas A&M include army veterans who have sworn an oath to protect the Constitution of the United States, including the right to free speech.

Army vets agree that Texas A&M’s censorship policy does not uphold constitutional rights that they have sworn to protect.

Unionizing is our right! Education is our right!

That is why we have to fight!

Yesterday, Gov. Abbott announced a freeze on H-1B visa applications at Texas public universities and state agencies. Following the announcement, professors have deep concerns about the ability of Texas to compete globally in key fields like science, technology, engineering, and medicine.

Today, @zephcapo.bsky.social submitted a declaration in Texas AFT’s lawsuit against the TEA over unlawful investigations into Texas educators in the aftermath of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The union also filed a motion requesting a preliminary injunction from the court.
