I hope this video about zine layout is helpful! Not too technical, but enough good advice to get you started making your own zines.

One thing I really noticed about the session (Liminal Horror set in West Java during Ramadan) was that a lot of the cultural atmosphere I want to capture for Mausantara lives inside people who are immersed in the culture. And I have no idea how to get it across to let who aren't.
This was one of the absolute highlights of my trip to Indonesia this year. So many creative people in one room. One of the players in my session started teaching himself to draw five months ago and started writing a zine sized module two months ago. It's almost ready to publish.
I keep finding her name everywhere. I can't get over how prolific she is.
I ordered from what I thought was the great tukang candil yesterday only to find out afterwards it was a different guy selling in our neighbourhood.
This is my current struggle. How to fit the promise of the game into the text. It's so much harder when the promise of the game is a fantasy version of real culture.
I finally bumped into our local painting wizard at the bi-weekly mini painting club and he's agreed to do private lessons at my place for my son. We're so lucky here in Australia, I can use our disability funding for this.
this goes so fuckin hard
βA revolution must be started by yourself. An egg, opened from the outside, is food; opened from the inside, it is a new life.β
Ovum exteriore apertum cibus, interiore vita nova.
Revolutio exteriore est incursio.
Starting a solo play test for @catshavenolord.itch.io's #Mothership module. It looks exciting so far with (apart from the playtest instructions) the entire text of the module being diagetic and play relying on consulting the Combined Systems Semiotic Standard.
A dragon wyrmling floating in a pool of lava in a dungeon. In the background is an altar of treasure.
Craklen the Enormous is a red dragon wyrmling hatched by the kobolds of Dragonscliff Keep to be their god. They donβt know anything about being a god but they think theyβre a good one. The kobolds disagree. They need a D&D party to defeat Craklen so they can hatch a new god.

My first nearly finished terrain piece. Paint scheme is Indonesian workshop. A shipping agent and engineering workshop plastered with posters from #BLKOUT. Added scatter terrain pieces as fittings, stock, and furniture. Just need to add some posters and graffiti to the rear, then varnish.
I endorse this message.
Fairly monotone illustration of a goblin. It is lanky and has cyan blue skin and wields a sword and shield. Its face is obscured by a giant over-sized lion mascot head. A little red eye peeks out of the mouth.
#goblinweek Fortitude
I plan on play testing this over the coming week while the kids are at school.
Meme with four panels in two rows. First row is a Trans flag with a woman saluting. Second row is a woman kneeling with hands fixed in prayer and a St. Andrews Cross bondage frame.
In this house we stand for the flag and kneel for the cross.
A physical copy of Tales from the Cockpit on a brown table, next to a blue pen - the cover protects a wrecked mecha, with light still coming from its open cockpit, as two small figures begin trying to gain access.
My #ZineTopia project for a print run of Tales from the Cockpit, a Lost & Found solo #ttrpg about a giant robot, its many pilots, and the passage of time, will launch on @backerkit.com in two days! What do YOU have coming up in February? #SelfPromoSaturday www.backerkit.com/call_to_acti...
It's been a few years, but only a short wait to go now. This will be my first pbta game.

I was looking wistfully at the newest editing of Pendragon at CanCon last weekend. Any idea if this roleplay enforcing mechanics persisted into the recent editions? I'm quite interested in mechanics that support roleplay.
A fascinating read, especially for world building.
Itβs been my opinion from pretty much day one that giant ass frogs are among the most underrated monsters in low-level D&D. Over the years, the number of near-TPKs Iβve had because players underestimated these rubbery, flabby-lipped dudes in their native environment is countless.
Chuds: Women don't play wargames. Pauli: We design them.
Picture of Pauli Kidd with a box of her 10mm scale game HEIHO found in one of her local FLGSs.
28-32 mm miniature. A modern soldier kneeling worth rifle pointed upwards within a room with white painted walls. Some machinery is off to the right.
Painting up my #BLKOUT minis. They're 3D printed in one piece with more detail than I can cope with+difficult to reach spots. They're fantastic but probably more suited to experienced painters. This team is in Army Painter's Tundra Taupe, Prairie Ochre, and Burnt Turf. Olive brown and yellow browns.
I haven't bought them yet so this is a second hand recommendation. I think the infantry will defibrillator scale well. The armour may be smaller though, but would at worst compare well to those in the light or size 1 category.

I hate not being able to edit for typos.
Possibly, but I don't see it at this point. The main motivation for the platform is the pro zionist/maga suppression of Palestinian and left wing politics on Tik Tok. On the bad side Caitlin Johnstone is on there as a suggested follow and she's a revolting tankie.
A cute little 6mm scale grav jeep from the Slammers Regiment on a lovely grass battle mat with some desert buildings on the background.
So the best range of 6mm scifi minis for infantry and armour that are compatible with the big stompy robots seems to be the Hammer's Slammers range. And they are so cheap I feel like I can justify getting enough for not only Battletech but also Traveller's Striker II because they have grav tanks!
