As if this week couldn't get worse in terms of Sims news I've discovered today that a very popular mod stole a bunch of code from one of my mods without asking or credit...

Spend the last few days adding more ways for ghosts to gain spirit connection, balanced the gameplay a bit and am working on incorporating more community ideas.
This is a big feature update and I need your feedback and ideas to make it work well so if you want to help test join the Discord!
Iβm going through some of the existing features and am tweaking and updating them for the motives. Ghost can now gain a moodlet reward for taking part in the lifted veil holiday that will slow down their spirit connection for a bit
No sadly Iβm based in europe so mostly smaller scale non international projects but one of them was ghosts so thatβs where some inspiration for my mod comes from! Also not a dude π

Set up a save file to playtest Ghastly Ghosts and I'm having a lot of fun with it. The ghosts all have different personalities and the humans can't see them so it's all very chaotic. It's inspired by the tv show I've worked on a while ago.
How do you play with ghosts?
This is the main focus of the next big feature update and is something that has been in the works for a long time. I'm currently doing the first round of testing in my Discord server so feel free to check it out if you're interested!

I'm currently working on finally making some progress on the motive overhaul for ghosts but love adding small things like this!
I have a little surprise drop for you and am bringing back Paws & Claws! But it's not just that mod returning - Flower Pets is back as well and now part of the remaster.
The remaster comes with many more changes.

Little sneak peek of the patch notes of the upcoming mod update. This is not patch related and not required for Ghastly Ghosts to work.
Happy Haunts & Ghastly Ghosts are compatible with all recent patches and don't require any updates!
I continued adding some small features to Ghastly Ghosts though and hope I can release those soon.
PS: I accidentally discovered there will be a new death type with the new pack...

I'm working on a new feature update for Ghastly Ghosts that will add new reactions to Sims interacting with ghosts. Sims who can't see ghosts will get new unique reactions that are influenced by their personalities.
Names & Icons are not final but these are the 12 preferences I came up with
I'm working on another new feature for the remastered version of Paws & Claws that will integrate with the animal shelter system in the future. It works similar to the sim characteristics. There will be a system to auto assign these preferences based on your Sims personality as well.

It's been a while since I had time to work on my mods but the Paws & Claws Remaster is making progress and I added a feature that I wanted to add for a long time - the ability to gain/ lose preferences dynamically! I'll share more details on how it works in the future.
It can do that the TDESC is just not up to date because I used that in my mod. My website works too you just canβt use a direct link to the mod because itβs archived. Feel free to message me via Discord I think that makes communication a bit easier
There should be a TDESC for it on the TDESC browser but I think it doesnβt show all features. Feel free to dig through the code of my lively towns for reference though (itβs in the archived mods on my website). It should be pretty close to what youβre trying to make
PS if you use the purchase picker tuning from Lot51's core library you don't need the loot tuning and do some other neat stuff. I understand the pain of setting up the purchase lists though it's one of the reasons why I haven't remade my mod yet π
