You shouldn't have to be pregnant if you don't want to be. And that shouldn't be controversial.

ICYMI: We got GREAT news last week!
The European Commission (@ec.europa.eu) has set out a pathway to support abortion access following the #MyVoiceMyChoice European Citizensβ Initiative, clarifying for THE FIRST TIME that existing EU funds may be used to address barriers to care. πππ
Weβre proud to stand with advocates, lawmakers, and community members working to ensure every person in Georgia has quality, affordable, and non-discriminatory access to fertility care that upholds their right to bodily autonomy, including if, when, and how to build their families.
βThis will provide an incredible opportunity to come together around solutions to address barriers to care, such as HB 588 and HB 589, and share stories that celebrate the diversity of those who build their families using assisted reproduction,β said our Human Rights Counsel, Jorie Dugan.
This year, the coalition:
π Rallied behind HB 588 and HB 589 β two bills we worked on that would mandate public and private insurance coverage for fertility care in the state.β¨
π Celebrated the Georgia legislatureβs adoption of a resolution establishing a 2026 Fertility Care Awareness Week.
π£ Fertility care is health care. π£
Last week, we proudly joined partners at Georgia Fertility Advocacy Day! π§΅β¬οΈ
Unsurprising that the lawyer behind Texas's abortion bans works closely with lifelong abusers, and unsurprising that men who have spent decades assaulting women think they should have the right to control our bodies and our lives.
But we'll fight them with everything we've got.

β No one should face jail time for getting or providing healthcare. Patients and providers should be able to make decisions about abortion without political interference.

State Rep. Jody Barrett went on TV to talk about his proposed legislation.
While this disgusting bill isn't expected to make it out of Senate, it's a prime example of how SO many anti-abortion legislators craft their laws: purely for shock value and with no substance.
THANK YOU Rep. Castro for bearing witness to the atrocities happening to pregnant women in ICE detention. We need other congressional representatives to follow his lead. Do you agree? Send a message to your reps now: bit.ly/3MJ9pgN bsky.app/profile/joaq...

Enough is enough. Our lawmakers need to bear witness to these atrocities and investigate how ICE is treating pregnant detainees.

Texans deserve access to reproductive health care. This is an intimidation campaign designed to chill abortion access and it cannot stand.
The Texas AG has also taken legal action against New York doctor Margaret Carpenter, Delaware nurse practitioner Debra Lynch, and Texas midwife Maria Rojas, who is being represented by @reprorights.org in a baseless suit that was heard last week.
βTexas is taking its anti-abortion crusade outside the state to come after doctors well beyond its borders,β said @reprorights.org Pres. Nancy Northup. βTexans need the full range of reproductive healthcare, not a draconian abortion ban and harassing lawsuits seeking to enforce it.β
This is part of a coordinated national effort to intimidate doctors and take away access to abortion pills, which are used in nearly 2/3 of U.S. abortions. 1/4 abortions are provided via telehealth with providers writing online prescriptions and pharmacies mailing meds to patients.
Texas Attorney General Paxton is suing a California doctor, nonprofit Aid Access and its founder Rebecca Gomperts, along with other individuals for allegedly providing telehealth abortion services to Texans.

More than ONE MILLION European citizens have already shown their support for this initiative, which has also secured strong backing from the European Parliament, as well as the support of leading legal experts and over 180 civil society organizations from all 27 Member States.
Things must change! Thatβs why weβre calling on President
@vonderleyen.ec.europa.eu and the @ec.europa.eu to act on the @myvoicemychoice.bsky.social proposal: a voluntary financial mechanism that would allow willing Member States to receive EU support when providing abortion care.
