So sorry I didn't see this until now! New link is up at import.bookmarks.bluecanary.dev
Some phones run into issues with the file selector. There might be a way to select other files in the interface? It depends on the phone
Try typing it in manually (your username), sometimes some extra characters end up in there
DM this account "/clear all"
Try toggling on "desktop mode" in your browser for now, but I'll work on patching it
Make sure to unpin the feed along with unsubscribing from the labeler
It will stay around for at least a few months.
This is a reminder to transfer your bookmarks to the Officialβ’οΈ Bluesky bookmarking solution!
Download your bookmarks from bookmarks.bluecanary.dev/export/, and then import them into Bluesky with meowpa.ws/bsky-bookmar... (don't leave the tab!)
sif beat me to it!
meowpa.ws/bsky-bookmar...
They are private to Bluesky's servers and will be migrated automatically to a more protocol-native solution once true private data comes to atproto
gimme a couple days
migration tool coming soon
back up!
downscaling the server, so it's going to be down for a few minutes!
bookmarks work again btw. small fix because the 'reason' field is now not given when empty rather than being an empty string
Reporting doesn't work atm - will look into it tomorrow when I have time.
10000 users 55470 posts bookmarked
holy shit 10k people??? actually insane woah
Bookmark labeler/feed! Unlike the pin feed where you have to comment π to save a post, this alternative is completely private!
Subscribe to both the labeler and feed here. Report a post to the label to add to the feed! Report again to remove!
bsky.app/profile/book...
5,000 (plus 8) users! π
15,000 posts bookmarked! π
the bookmark exporter is finished!
bookmarks.bluecanary.dev/export/
4803 users
14165 posts bookmarked
(if you decide to have both for some reason, nothing will happen)
New Feature:
If you're unsure whether or not you've bookmarked a post, you can now tag it with "#enforcemark" to ensure that it stays bookmarked (instead of being removed).
This works similarly for the "#enforceremove" tag, which will ensure that a post is removed.
DMs should hopefully be less broken in the future? I think the current scanner was exceeding ratelimits, causing the handler to crash
DMs back up, hopefully
