I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

A picture of nine games I like to play from time to time to have fun, I consider them my comfort games.
The list has: Crash bandicoot 1 and 2, Spyro 1 and 2, Hollow knight, Dark souls and Elden ring (they have pretty chill vibes when you are not getting demolished by bosses or little guys lol), Bugsnax and Monhun world (I'd also add Rise and GenU)
Time to recommend DS and ER, I know the games can be scary but all the tryhards have left the community and now everyone is helpful if you are stuck, there are also mods available to play with friends
Well, everyone is doing it so here's mine.
I decided to do a list of comfort cozy games for me, also the japanese covers for crash and spyro were on the website and I think those look cuter
