all power to the game-makers
Tell us some good RPG/CRPG accounts to follow!
Huge! No Wizardry, no Final Fantasy. Truly a titan of gaming history.
This is such a Peter Molyneux thing to do/say I can't even be mad
it's so touching every time I remember how popular Wizardry was in Japan

Gonna start streaming regularly, both our own game, Spellblade, and others. Focusing on RPGs but also interested in other indie games. DM us if you'd like to swap game streams or anything like that!
It's time for a new RPG.

And this isn't just for fun--you can cook food here, plus lighting the altars affects your reputation/karma with the different deities of Spellblade's world.
Our massive 0.0.2 update is coming soon! Just needs a little more time in the oven to test all the new environmental interactions, like this one!
Didn't need to re-download at the MB Games office (my living room) because it's never left the hard drive
Been quiet for a couple weeks, but that's only because we're about to drop a HUGE update!

The world of Spellblade might be teeming with violence, undead, conspiracy, cultists, monsters, and demons, but there's also plenty of love to be found if you know where to look!

Nice

In Spellblade, you can fully customize your character with Attributes, Skills, and Feats that have a wide variety of effects both in and out of combat. Here's an example of a high-level weapon feat:
Finally, our free demo will focus on Classic mode. Partially to keep the plot of Adventure Mode under wraps, but also because Classic is much easier to implement content for. Adventure Mode will be available if we do an Early Access release, or to backers if we end up doing a Kickstarter
The story and lore of both versions are intimately connected--so you should play both if you want to get the "full" story.
Experimenting with importing your character from Classic mode to Adventure as a sort of New Game+ option, but we'll see if the game balance works with that!
Classic Mode is a nostalgic megadungeoncrawl emphasizing combat and survival. There's a story for the player to discover--but you have to piece it together by searching for clues and finding the lore. If you'd rather just conquer the dungeon, you can do that too!
Spellblade will have two modes--Adventure, and Classic.
Adventure Mode is a modern open-world RPG with a retro feel, an epic branching storyline, companions, romance, and multiple endings.

Designing a megadungeon for Classic Mode, so naturally, went back to the classics.
