The ruins of the Wanstead Park grotto, seen through the bars of a green metal fence. There’s a green child-sized wellington boot stuck upside down on the fence. The grotto has a large archway in it with three smaller arches above which give the impression of a face with a big wide open mouth.

Such a beautiful day for a morning walk.

The highlight was spotting this welly boot on the fence in front of the Wanstead Park grotto. From a certain angle it looks like the grotto’s about to eat it. Or is that just me?!
