I tried gamut masks for the first time with this- which is a way of selecting a color palette by cutting out a shape out of the color wheel and going from there (that's.. not a good explanation, just youtube it).
Tam and Dela sit in the rain while he broods about being attacked (by a different red head lol).

Rough paint-over/refinement
Cleaned up paint over. The eye, eye white, and eye lid/skin was all painted on separate layers so I could move the eye around later for animation
Last min touches, added filters, added text, and final effects to crunch the image and give it that low bit rate/crunchy texture look
