as you can sort of see here, the big colliders on the front and back are restricting the movement of the bone chain!

this sentence is probably incomprehensible and unsettling to non 3D modelers but it's ok. 3D modeling isn't real and it can't hurt you

VRM Springbones may seem overly simple for your 3D model at first glance, but you can still get good physics if you know how to use it properly!
