Love the Dave Mirra 2 pick!
The emptiness I felt after finishing that game on a full dark side playthrough has really stuck with me!
Phoenix Wright 3! What a gem!
Pictures of the covers of nine games: Zelda Breath of the Wild, Burnout 3, Deus Ex, GTA IV, Immortality, Broken Sword 1, Smash Bros. Melee, Knights of the Old Republic and Ghost Trick.
They're saying he has great taste. They're saying that it was easy to just pick 9 games, actually. They're saying he looks like a genius right now for his choices. (my9games.com)
I played Crimson Desert for many hours the other day. There’s a lot going on in that game. Here’s my preview: www.screenhub.com.au/news/feature...

Absolutely wild that my name is there with Rhianna Pratchett and Jordan Mechner and a bunch of other cool people. What a project!
Increasingly feeling that the whole Concord situation really - and I apologise for the four words I'm about to write - poisoned the discourse well
Would be nice if a game could release and simply not do very well without the whole studio immediately sinking as a result.
Absolutely adored this game at a preview session last year. Very excited to play it again.
I have a chapter in here! As do many, many other people! It's a very cool book.
My signing pen is ready!
In May '25, a beloved Australian games website was sold off. It went dark then, a month later, rose from the dead but stuffed full of gambling links and AI authors.
It wasn't the first time, or the last time, this exact thing had happened. And it's still happening.
My months-long investigation 👇
Hello! I wrote about the new Paranormasight for SuperJump. I adore this game and think it is doing some really cool stuff with the visual novel format and the notion of reading as a gameplay mechanic. www.superjumpmagazine.com/wordplayer-p...
Every compromise feels *very* reasonable. It does not feel like I am playing a lesser version of the game, fundamentally.
Spent some time playing Resident Evil Requiem on Switch 2 last night and it is some real "we are living in the future now" gear
The most encouraging thing about that (quite good) Pokemon Winds/Waves trailer is that they’re holding off until 2027. Take a bit more time! Give it some polish!
Happy Free Pulp Concert in Adelaide Night to all
I have at least one thing in this (or I will once I write it)
I went to that Sizzler as a kid *all the time* but, if memory serves, only went to Tuckerland once or twice. Me and him, we're the same
Somebody badly misheard “sand castle”
I wasn't sure how I would handle the show going in - I'm historically squeamish around a lot of medical stuff - but it's actually very comforting watching all of these characters methodically dealing with everything, even when things go horribly wrong! It's so damn good.
Turning to Lisa every time Whittaker/Dana/Mel/whoever I'm most enjoying that week is on screen and saying "this is the best character in the history of television"
“Press” work makes up maybe 20% of my work at the moment but it was a bit of fun to do one of these things again
Had my first little press trip in seven years today. Things have changed - no one offered me a beer all day (which is ultimately a good thing I think)
The number of “I have restored your access” emails I have sent!
Unfortunately I have been outsmart(ygrants)ed by the system!
After all the times I have defended Smartygrants ("I don't mind it, honestly"), its current predilection for logging me out and deleting all the stuff I just wrote without telling me feels like a personal insult
Apologies this is a post for very few people
I am going to be calm and normal about this
