the beginner's guide is so good and underrated I wrote an entire bachelor's thesis about it (ok it wasn't _entirely_ about it)

this is the first time I hear of it and I don't rly do networking but it looks pretty neat! I'll have to look more into it when I have time. that said I don't think I have much use for it atm but I love these kinds of projects anyway, very cool

tbf i think the only laptop i've encountered this with before is framework, but it's very common with smaller devices and pretty much guaranteed with single board computers

huh that's wild, especially considering the laptop is specced comparable to an iphone but with a bigger battery

i think it's funny how apple always gets these reactions even though they're far from the only company doing it. fairphone proudly says that they don't include chargers in order to reduce e-waste and then there's the EU rules incentivising it too 🤷
