Perverse incentives aka Cobra Effect come to mind.
More teen pregnancy anyone? This feels like a metric that will be gamed.
Love the lighting, great shot
Is that any different to governments banning or burning books?
Books yes but how is that something exclusive to libraries.
The social interaction and sense of community is a key point!
The world needs more empathy and critical thinking. I see so many people slogging it out online like it's us vs them.
One side is x, the other is y. Seems like kids in the playground but on a mass scale, only cowering behind their browser / apps.
What happened to respectful debate and facts?
How are they vital in today's age?

Great share from @jon.bvssh.com on the Viable Systems Model - check out this great into video / talk by Adam Thompson www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRWL...
What other resources do you recommend on the VSM?
I've read Hpverstatd's Fractal Org and Davies' Unaccountability Machine

@simon.bvssh.com and I were just talking about this!
If you are giving a talk and calling others out for being wrong or not doing their homework... and you don't even try to talk to them to verify your own claims - you sir are a dick!
I won't kiss and tell, I am disappointed how the agile community acts sometimes. Very childish.
Is this what happens to all the pumpkins after Halloween?
This one βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
Does that change at all if your tooling enables a column with both states waiting and active?
Still can't believe December is almost here. I'm moving back to Oz in January. Life is flashing before my eyes.
Do you have a better suggestion or do you think less queues overall but still some are waiting?
