text based social media apps are absolutely cooked nowadays. X is nothing but bots and Nazis, Threads is full of Facebook moms and boomers saying HoT TAkEs, and BlueSky is just a whole lot of virtue signaling cretins yelling from their soapboxes to like 27 followers
Ditto, Alan!
alright Bathroom Barry ๐
robotaxi go brrr
I am asleep, but not at the wheel. Iโm in the backseat of the Waymo chillin ๐
Are you okay?
People routinely hit pedestrians too lol. Have you ever driven before? People are fucking morons. I have never felt safer in a car, period, than I have in a Waymo. And no, Iโm not joking.
I know Reddit is cringe or whatever but this was interesting

I havenโt heard any of this utopian techbro propaganda that you speak of lmao. I literally saw them a few times into my trip and thought it would be fun to try because Iโm a nerd when it comes to new tech stuff. I went in with no preconceptions whatsoever and I enjoyed it. Now Iโm being crucified ๐ซฃ
How so? I was fully prepared to try it and be disappointed or run into issues, but I really donโt have any complaints with the service at all. Early adoption is exciting and fun, you should try looking on the bright side here instead of huffing and puffing online like this lol
As it stands, people can hardly do that by driving for Uber or Lyft. Iโm sure there are other opportunities that pay a similar wage.
I do! I almost exclusively used Waymo in LA recently where possible. It was often cheaper, roughly as quick, and I felt consistently safer. Cars smelled nice and fresh, I could control the AC, and play my own music at whatever volume I wanted. The cars look better than yellow cabs. Whatโs wrong?
what if Ted Sarandos perished in a fire
what then
Dragon Quest XI is a great option, itโs like JRPG comfort food being served at a Michelin star restaurant.
at that point you shouldnโt even think about sharing your opinion, let alone have one to begin with
calling P3P the worst JRPG youโve ever played is absolutely ludicrous
Hamnet was universally praised and has โawards darlingโ energy in every way possible (Zhao, Spielberg/Amblin, Mescal, Buckley). As much as I enjoyed Sinners, that is not the type of film that has ever seen much success during awards season. I donโt expect it to win anything at the Oscars.
Iโve never been a fan of the Golden Globes as a whole, but Iโve always found it especially frustrating how they split films into โdramaโ and โcomedy/musicalโ seemingly arbitrarily. This year, it seemed like that division placed Sinners in a more favorable position, but I never subscribed to that.
Gaming is a luxury, straight up. Itโs not a necessity. If you canโt afford it, tough shit I guess?
Put the dog down is what I say ๐
I would actually recommend just playing II, and then 0. The first one is good in a vacuum but compared to II in particular it feels like a demo.
sleeping on Portrait of Ruin ๐ฏ
if Interstellar is one of your four favorite films on Letterboxd you need to be strung up by your fingernails and forced to watch like five other movies
of the โemotionalโ scenes hit for me. I found myself wanting to skip most of the dialogue, which Iโve almost never felt while playing an RPG. I kept thinking to myself, โIs this really the game everyone has been losing their minds over?โ
I feel like Iโm living on another planet.
I swear Iโm not being a contrarian here, but I do not understand the hype around Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. The combat is probably the most novel part, and itโs fun, but an RPG lives or dies by its narrative and I was just incredibly bored by it. I didnโt care about any of the characters, so none
just ban them and move on?
Such a great little touch. You can also see her face briefly reflected when you open the map
Where are the pants from? Theyโre cute ๐
it ainโt Fusion, but what is?
If Weapon X doesnโt become a Destroy staple idk what will. Card is cracked
