also i would add that, anything can be a game, it doesn't always have to be insane programming wise, you can make a visual novel, text adventure or rpg game on easy engines like RenPy, RPG Maker or Twine with a nice story or visuals, unless you are focusing on gameplay stuff

the closest thing we're getting to pmd for now... hopefully eventually more to get ~w~

i personally use gamemaker as it's focus on specifically 2d games make it easier to learn, altho there isn't many drag and drop tutorials, i could find this one youtube.com/playlist?lis... hope it would be of help (it goes into code for one episode, you can skip it)
