Reviewing portfolios can become an endless grid of pixel perfect UI, anything different stands out. I like to see messy work - the problem, the audience, how you solved it, the impact it had, your role in the team.

Good to share! Edited highlights on social media makes it look like everyone else is living effortlessly when we’re all fighting our own demons.
My life did get more joyful when my kids grew up though or maybe it’s just mindset changing with age.

I rebuilt my blog site in Astro using this tutorial. I’m not an engineer but it was straightforward and writing the CSS from scratch rather than using a theme means I understand what it all does. Recommend!
