It continues to be stupefying that I can’t get a health insurance company to tell me THE ACTUAL COST of something I need. They NEVER KNOW and if they do eventually give you a number it comes with the warning that it isn’t guaranteed. Eff this system and all of those working hard to keep it in place.
Yeesh, the essence of this movement: "Her answer underscored how this law isn’t just about policy. It is about flipping the script on what we’ve considered the norm for generations now: that if you’re going to be part of a community, you must help protect the other people in your community."
Ah, yes - the answer to our healthcare woes surely must be adding more prior-authorization tactics. 🙄

In the US we are told that health insurance = access to healthcare. But once you have to use or depend upon your health insurance, you quickly learn that that is a lie.
