Britain's dining car isn't dead – this £46 meal is the best on Europe's railways With train trolley services and grab-and-go buffets now the norm, a white linen dining car from Devon to London is a rare treat

“The best on Europe’s railways”: A wonderful article in yesterday’s i from the wonderful Daniel Puddicombe! I’m so proud of our team who deliver our restaurant service to such a high standard - day in, day out. When are you next dining with us? 🥩🍽️ inews.co.uk/inews-lifest...

This formalises a lot of what I've been up to over the past few months, but it also brings the Sleeper, First Class Lounges and the wider Catering proposition into my portfolio too 🛌🍫

An honour to support our Armistice Day commemorations this year by collecting wreaths on our 0503 departure from Penzance, and escorting them to our memorial on Platform 1 at London Paddington. It meant even more to be able to wear my @scouts uniform and represent our movement ⚜️

Really humbled to receive this in the office today for my small contribution to Operation Golden Orb 👑 It was a huge privilege to be part of the team who looked after the thousands of revellers heading to and from Windsor & Eton Central for the celebrations 📣 @GWRHelp

I still feel so unbelievably proud to have played a small part in such a huge moment for our country - it was such a privilege for us as Scouts help people pay their final respects to our former patron, and to have one last opportunity to fulfil our promise: To do our duty. 3/3

Throughout the week, we supported over 250,000 people who’d queued for 12 hours+ and had travelled from as far away as 🇨🇦 and 🇦🇺 by handing out blankets during the night, donating unwanted food to food banks and being there for people if they needed a shoulder to cry on. 2/3
