Trump multiple times just today has said the country is at war. War can only be declared by Congress, and Iran posed no imminent threat. What Trump is doing there is a textbook illegal war and impeachable offense — if we still had a Congress.

There is no "political ad ban" on Meta. A ban that isn't enforced isn't a ban.

Former AfD leader Frauke Petry and now leader of a splinter party is running several political ads on Meta. One has been active since Oct 23 and reached 171k people across Germany.

This is from Keir Starmer’s letter to Labour MPs today. This sort of stuff is shockingly partisan and nasty. It will only backfire with voters who switched to Green or are thinking of switching.

Ahead of the Hungarian elections, 457 political ads appeared in the first 6 weeks of 2026 from Orban’s Fidesz and 2 opposition parties.

The no-political-ad policy is not well enforced.
