Great to see @uksnowmap.com has moved over to Bluesky. From your BlueSky posts it populates the #UKSnow map.

Just post the hashtag #UKSnow followed by the first part of your postcode and rate the snowfall out of 10 eg. 3/10

UK Snow Map See where it is snowing in the UK right now! UK Snow Map uses #uksnow Tweets to draw an up-to-the-minute map of where it is currently snowing in the UK.

Ideally would like to branch out and use #bluesky and #atproto as a source for uksnowmap.com - need to figure out how to import #uksnow search results from here to the #Laravel based backend. Anyone got a guide on how to do that?

Time to think about dusting off #uksnow map ready again for this winter. I see X has doubled the price for API access which is now $200/month 😬

Yeah I threw that in there as I noticed it was on some of the developer feed posts, but as it wasn’t highlighted or clickable in the official app I was wondering what the deal was. So feeds - are they something I could set up and then interrogate from outside of the app via an API?

I’m wondering if it would be possible to do #uksnow on here… but are hashtags not a thing? Is it possible to search a Bluesky API (somewhere!?) for specific hashtags? Be great to get uksnowmap.com pulling in content… So many questions… where’s a good starter resource for this kind of thing? #atdev
