Iran just had its leadership decapitated, its military infrastructure bombed, and its cities struck - without a UN vote, without congressional authorisation, and without having attacked the US.

Under international law, Iran is the victim of aggression. That sentence should be uncomfortable.

"Days from a bomb" was never really an intelligence assessment. It was a political instrument - kept vague enough to be unfalsifiable, specific enough to justify whatever action was needed next.

The JCPOA in 2015 was actually working. Independent inspectors on the ground, enrichment capped, verified compliance.

Trump pulled out in 2018 for no verifiable military reason.

Iran's enrichment accelerated after that - caused by the withdrawal, not despite it.

In 2007, the entire US intelligence community - all 16 agencies - published a National Intelligence Estimate concluding Iran had halted its nuclear weapons programme in 2003.

Their own intel. Quietly ignored.

1995: Peres says Iran will have one by 1999.

2002, 2012, 2015: same warnings, different dates.

The bomb never came. The warnings never stopped.
