I've got a new mod! Inline Tooltips adds improved tooltips for attributes, components, fuel, and more. Most tooltips added by this mod have styled icons, adding information without lengthening the tooltip.
Supports Fabric/NeoForge 1.21.1 and 1.21.10.

When in doubt, check what versions are popular and what "big mods" are moving to. Create's planning a port to 1.21.7, which I expect will cause a lot of smaller mods to follow its example and port to "latest" - though by the time the port's complete, we'll probably be on 1.21.9 or something.
It usually ends up being the hotfix for a major release, the last version before a major technical change, and usually the most popular version - 1.19.2, 1.20.1, 1.21.1, etc., though with the move to drops it'll likely be 1.21.7 next as it released around the time we'd expect a major update.
For simple mods, Stonecutter works well enough, despite some personal issues with it. If I'm manually supporting versions, I usually support the current LTS (currently 1.21.1) latest (currently 1.21.7), and occasionally another middle version like 1.21.5 that some mods are currently stuck on.

I didn't make the mod, but I made the port for 1.20 - I needed it for a modpack and decided to do it myself.

A mod that I work on had to make the same mixin fix for bees, since it generates bee nests in worldgen as well. LegacyRandomSource crashes are a *mess* to debug, especially when they're caused by vanilla of all things.
this is the most succinct description of what posting screenshots from Twitter is. Thank you Mr Bluesky
