I haven't finished looking through all this, but it looks thoroughly sourced. I didn't know about how they had also run a targeted campaign against tiktok
The base overview, coal and another stone patch are being belted in, we've got more power, and space is starting to get tight. The walling in has continued apace.
The crash site. The miners are running dry and we have more power now
Science and oil products. we're running out of room, and only have 20 engine assemblers, but I'm sure that's fine
The mall area, with 24 red chip assemblers, as though we can feed that with our green chip production, and very small copper patch. Plus, a message to myself for next time
Week 4, skipped a week because I was out of town. Mil sci, Blue sci, and more mines! Things are getting tight by the labs, so I only made 20 engine assemblers for blue science. But, we're in the Age of the Circuit, so our anemic copper supply will have to be bolstered.
How will I know that it’s September 2027 and people are still listening to Anna Begins?
because congress wants this too, dummies! They wanted it during Obama, and Bush and and and and
it's a good time! I did some write-ups on cohost as I went through several of the missions.
Anyways, happy saturday! It’s nice out
This is, again, a failure of schools to teach children the Dialogues so they can understand the utility of learning things from the work past generations have done. Easy enough to understand in math, why don’t folks grasp it in philo?
There are millenia of philosophical thought building a conversation around what consciousness is, decades of academic papers that will advance your understanding of the questions being asked about consciousness.
And again, a library is not conscious - no matter how organized.
Please, read “What is it Like to be a Bat” by Nagel if you’re interested in starting to explore what consciousness is.
But also, the AI program lacks consciousness the same way a book lacks consciousness & that is obvious

my pudding is level 15 and I think I'm supposed to evolve it soon? I don't really want to check everything but I think I remember custard having better stat growth but worse moves gain.
Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff, with their original names being Pudding and Custard.
started playing through pkmn blue, because I haven't touched those games in like 20 years, and I got curious about avoiding glitches and which ones were exclusive to red so I went to the wiki. Which is where I made this lovely discovery, there's a promotional poster with the early names for pkmn
score, hope you learn a lot
alright, I'm back. What's up everybody?
yreah, they are incorrect.
once again, you don't need to tweet about mattY, you can just remember this
That day Grok AI started making everything about Boer genocide because Trump let a bunch of Boers emigrate to America and the media pointed out that that's kinda fucked so Elon changed Grok to make everything about white genocide.
Goddam, what a shit year. I hope things are better future me, I really do.
putting these here to remind myself of them when I scroll my timeline in 8 months
laugh, because that's funny
The full base, now with radar coverage. We have enclosed walls with belt-fed turrets, oil coming in from the west, and more power.
The crash site, our original resources are dwindling, but we have new lines coming in for some resources.
the expanded iron production, it's still feeding into one red belt for now, but boy is that belt saturated. Featuring a hip, cool horizontal furnace stack, and showing off the several red belts of iron we have flowing in from the south.
the oil is so far to the NW that it doesn't make sense to show the full distance. It's lightly guarded but it should be fine enough. I hope. Our starter oil patch spawned so close that it was just one well and started at 100%, practically worthless.
Week 3, we're about 7 hours in. We've researched everything through green science, expanded our Iron production, hooked up crude oil, and fully entombed ourselves in. Next time, military science? blue science? more mines??
sometimes it feels like people just want to make high score chaser arcade games but people won't buy them unless you add on randomized roguelite upgrades like hiding a dog's pill in a piece of cheese
i know quibbling over calcified video game genre names is pointless, but it does feel like "roguelike" has drifted extremely far from its origins when it now mostly means "any game where you routinely pick from one of three randomized upgrades and you have to start over if you lose"

I built a Marina Vendrell $25 deck with Mind’s Desire and Extravagant Replication, then a month or two later Mind’s Desire doubled in price.
