Can you build a successful podcast platform talking about indie comics, you can. Is that harder than focusing on Marvel and DC projects, yes it is, much harder. Help us promote indie comics and their creators. Subscribe to the YouTube channel.

We'll learn in 5 years this was a part of his latest work of art about "holding paradox" which will include "repurposing" Yeong-shin Ma's ARTIST by running it through Claude for "tonal integration" then printing it in 15 unique handbound editions using scraps of discarded napkin as the cover stock.

It is very amusing to me that Ilan Manouach is the one arguing that "cultural work deserves economic dignity" on TCJ, since it's only been a year since he was shilling for AI (aka "Synthetic Comics") for the same publication.

You want the recipe? Sure, here it is - indie comics publishing is 5 parts inspiration, 30 parts perspiration, 4 parts agitation, 2 parts indignation, and 20 parts exasperation. Mix with a slurry of wood pulp, and bake at 375 F for 6-18 months or until well done. Et voila!

I generally don't complain about the books I don't finish, but The Boyhood of Cain, which I got about 25% through definitely felt like an MFA Writers Workshop project meets Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret, and that is definitely not a compliment.

Glad this writeup focuses on the use of AI translation, which while increasingly common, is sure to deaden and flatten media and the intersection of cultures.
