yep, literally just plugged it in, installed the USB composite driver, and off it went

it does come up with a "Dualsense Wireless Controller" device it doesn't have a driver for but I suspect that's the headphone jack audio device. So I didn't bother with that :p

I've also got the original Steam controller (I used it almost exclusively for Rocket League because I bound boost to the right trigger click, like what the Gamecube controller's triggers can do), and I also have a 3rd party "Pro" controller for my Switch by PowerA that lacks vibration lol

the stadia controller also works on XP the same way but when I tried it on 98 last, it didn't work with 98's USB composite driver

at least the other port does charging, and it *is* nice to have a second USB port for attaching a mouse or w/e, but tbh I doubt many people would be upset if they swapped it for a magsafe connector instead

it's based on the A18 Pro, the same chip in the iPhone which only has one port anyway

so one of them is the standard 10gig USB port with displayport and such. I presume they're just tapping off a spare USB2.0 lane somewhere. Surely there's a PCIe lane they could've bolted a USB 3 hub to though?

Turns out the gearbox is a 6DCT250, also used in Ford cars as the **atrocious** Ford PowerShift. So that's fun to know(!)

I have thought about that. The only issue I have is I can't charge at home (terraced housing) and my work car park doesn't have chargers either.

I did look at the Dacia Spring and just charging it at the shops/nearby car park, but it's not ideal.
