Happy 2026 (I hope). Good bye lovely building.
It sucks but it is just a building. The agency’s foundation is the people who execute its mission on a daily basis. I am happy to have such great colleagues and this will be the case while we telework and after we move. That said I will miss my office and view from it at the end of the day.
This is what work looks like these days. Interesting days at the NSF.

Another day testing the limits of resilience.

The loss of US science leadership will haunt this country for decades.
It’s going to be a wonderful day at the office tomorrow.
Nice to hear Bill and Sam speaking about NSF.
👋 Permanent program directors and leadership are still here because we care deeply about the science, the scientific communities we serve, and our oath to the constitution.
Had a very short layover in ORD tonight and the gate next to mine included my brother in law! So nice to see him on personal travel in Chicago for 25 minutes.
Not a great day at the office.
