also she wouldn't know me as Tess, so she won't have a clue who you're talking about, maybe that's for the best. I just got worried when I saw this stuff, and a friend said you would be the one to ask.

OK this is good to hear. I'm an old friend of Kara's who lost touch due to personal stuff, but I was worried when I heard this, as we are both survivors of TTI stuff/conversion therapy. As long as I know someone is checking on her, I'm not going to lose too much sleep.

Almost done writing my album. I have some vocal sessions to do with my vocalists, and I'm still looking for a vocalist (or ideally 3 vocalists. but one that can sing several different character voices would work too) that can do a Maria Brink or Lazzy Hale type vocal. (if that's you, DM me!)
RIP Bobby.

A remix I did a while ago is on this, and @matthart3808.bsky.social was gracious to include it. It's actually "early" Violet Wanda, before I "gitted gud" - but it was all a process. Happy to finally have it released!
It's actually pretty good, just not up to my current quality standards.
I'm good now, someone came in clutch. Now it's just to wait for them to make the funds available in paypal. Sorry for the interruption, I was panicking a bit.
I know this is a longshot, and I hate doing it, but I need to make up $170 for rent because a paypal transaction is on hold. I'll do a package deal on mixing/mastering at a discount to make up for it. I need it by tonight, unfortunately. I have samples of my work if someone needs to hear them.
For those that don't know, I do post-production mixing and mastering for all kinds of albums. I'm just finishing up a banger of an album by @stabbedbyprongs.bsky.social.
I have reasonable rates and discounts for marginalized communities. Feel free to reach out if you need an album mixed/mastered!
technically it's under the purview of congress, which grants executive power to the President. They could just as easily remove such power actually. While not necessarily "independent" in the sense of "they answer to nobody", they are specifically a congressional power (communications) and not exec.
ALso, she's kinda right, that's pretty much what they were, Irish drinking songs, poking fun at the stereotype. This attitude in itself was punk AF and really kinda made The Pogues, The Pogues. Still Fairytale of New York (off "If I should fall from grace...") is my favorite Christmas song.
Yeah, I saw that as a "response" to the Kendrick one and I was like "wait, when did Declan McManus produce a Kendrick album?" - the answer never and it was my faulty eyes connecting it to the Kendrick comment.
Oh The Pogues, yeah... that makes sense. and yeah ol' Declan is a pretty decent producer. My old bass teacher who was one of the best funk bassists I ever knew used to want to play with Elvis Costello as his dream gig.
which album is this referring to?
As 2025 comes to a close, I have to say that I am grateful for all the artists I've worked with as an engineer, and vocalists and collaborators I've worked with as an artist.
Looking forward to the album release this upcoming year. Have some great folks on it. <3
This weekend I return to Eorzea, the hero of yore.
I play at 3 pm Eastern on Saturday. Honored to have been asked to return even if only for a 1 hour set.
It's been a long time since I DJ'd in XIV, but I was there at the beginning of the DJ Revolution. SInce then I've become quite a Producer.
BRAND NEW TREAT FOR YOU

looks almost like they got Bane's Venom drug and Venom the spider man villain mixed up.
We need Kuiper first, it's time Starlink had some competition.
Sorry Open Letters, I'm still loopy and catching up on sleep, lol
Yes, everything except Bleed Black. I wrote some of the synth parts in Straight Talk as well. I mastered the whole album. We were in a rush to get it out by last night, so I took a day off work yesterday to finish up.
Glad to help, above anything, you're my friend. I love you, and I want the best for you, musically and otherwise!
glad you liked the mixes!
we all know they're lying every time they open their mouths.
I mixed and mastered most of this - its really a good collection. It casts the best light on the music. Plus a collaboration track that hits hard (remix to follow, just not sure *when* - I need a break after working so hard on this :) )
I am! this was a lot of work, but I am so ready for people to hear you in the *best* light.
Violet Wanda/Exposure Kills returns to the decks tomorrow night from 7-9 Eastern to support LOUD! and the Stonewall Community Foundation!

I've been insanely busy lately, and I don't do a ton of social media anymore.
But some things in the works:
A couple collaborations, a few official remixes for the Violet Wanda project and I'm working on an Exposure Kills original album. It's a concept album about a superhero "blue team".
