May you get out for lot of healthy kms this year ❀️

I am young (medically speaking).
No family risk factors, no smoking, no drinking; moving a lot. You always think "ahh, not me!" - until it *is* you.

What I want you to take from this: YES. Make progress. Get moving. Find a sport that you love. Push your mind, body, and boundaries. But don't let the pushing from your ego (or Strava!) get too loud.

If you don't know how yet, learn to LISTEN to your body.

You only have one.

So I trusted my intuition about my body (thanks, yoga, therapy, and especially running) and went to my lung doctor, who I trust. And he took me seriously.
Fast forward to today.

Running felt… different. Heavier. Progress wasn't what it used to be. No pain or anything, just… different. I know getting fit after a serious illness takes time, and everybody gets older, but this… was not normal.

Earlier this week, I had a lung scintigraphy. Turns out, I have a pulmonary embolism - probably caused by, or causing, my pneumonia about a year ago.
No running anymore, for quite some time now.

How did I find out that I have this?

I wanted to run my first half marathon tomorrow in Cambridge. A place I always wanted to visit, and of course, to see my great friend @zuzana_kunckova again. After that, talk about one of my favorite topics, embeddings, at the Laravel London Meetup.

The running part isn't going to happen.

I'd like to state that for generic white men PHP developers, supporting @larabelles.com is incredibly rewarding. I got my career handed to me on a plate, why not have a crack at making someone else's career better? X

Don't want to give AI agents SSH access?
Tinkerwell 5.11.0 exports your debugging output with LLM-ready context. ⌨️

Oh, and you can now connect through bastion hosts too. Proxy Jump support is here, for those secret hidden servers. πŸ₯·

In a house, robots are painting, writing and playing music, with smiles on their faces. Outside, in the pouring rain, a human empties a wheelie bin into a refuse vehicle while another sweeps the street with a glum expression on her face. A third human is cycling down the road with a Just Eat food delivery on his back, while a fourth walks along the pavement, arms filled with packages from Amazon.

Seen on Mastodon. This is by Dutch cartoonist Tjeerd Royaards.

AI for coding is cool, but nothing beats talking to my local assistant while walking the dog and coming home to a clean board.
Tasks I mention become cards. Details get their own linked notes. Brain dump β†’ structured board.

Perfect for the unhinged chaos brain ✨

I'm so happy about the reactions and people sharing their #TinkerwellWrapped ❀️ I had so much fun building it!

My stats are a bit skewed from dev testing, so I'm curious - what persona did you get? Figuring those out was my favorite part!
