Yes, I was splurging these credits precisely because I ran into that limit. Reached out to customer care when the credits were removed from my account, and they restored them - but warned me that it would be best to spend them in order to avoid the carryover issue.

Tried redeeming a few Audible titles with freshly recovered credits from a long-ago lapsed subscription. Couldn't spend beyond ten credits. Can't find anything online about this. So looks like I've run into a cap that literally nobody else has faced/complained about.
