I believe computers can be meaningfully conscious but LLMs are not even close. Not even a little. For all the sci-fi philosophizing on the matter, barely any of it is applicable

Images of type 5 are seen on common apps now that OLED phone displays are common. Whereas images of type 6 have long been used in 3D rendering (both type 3 and for normal SDR rendering). E.g. Halo's skyboxes are HDRI textures (6) for HDR rendering (3)

HDR can be

1. combined exposures
2. displays with variable backlighting
3. games rendering high internal values into a sliding SDR value window
4. games rendering for HDR displays
5. images with variable luminance
6. "HDRIs" which are technically the same as 5 but culturally separate in practice

The first Knives Out was delightful and intricate and set a high bar. The sequels are fun, but I'd agree with "high 2".

I was wondering just this morning "Godot is due for its Undertale moment a-la Game Maker. Wow, Cassette Beasts was a Godot game? I wonder what else is in the showcase- WOAH"

Everyone I know has upended their lives to play STS2 so this is very cool :D

I'm reading a bunch of Coruna reports after dinner because I am a cool person who knows how to party. Of particular interest: not only does Coruna not work against iOS in lockdown mode, but if it even detects lockdown mode running, it bails. This is why I talk about lockdown mode so damn much.
