Move over CAC and LTV – real startup success is measured in FEDCBA.
It’s so essential to our operations that we’ve made it a permanent fixture above our warehouse aisles. 💪

That one small change cut our business delivery failure rate to 3.7% in a month ✌️
A lesson in:
A) The importance of looking at your data
B) How Occam's razor can often apply to product development 😅
Sometimes, the fix needs to be big and complex. Other times, it can be very simple.
In this case, all we had to do was recognise when an address was a business and limit deliveries to a 9am–5pm window.
What was going wrong?
Turns out, we were treating business addresses the same as residential ones, attempting deliveries outside working hours when no one was there.
A total waste of time, energy and, most importantly, a missed delivery.
Our delivery failure rate has always been pretty damn good.
But back in 2023, we spotted a problem: our deliveries to businesses were failing 10% of the time – pretty damn bad.
Update:
Packfleet Severance Club now has watchalong props!
Hopefully this is the closest we ever get to Lumon Industries...
Merchant Budget is one of the most coveted Packfleet perks.
But are the Packfleet team feeling generous this Valentine’s Day?…
And why did we do that?
Once a month, our team steps away from the daily grind to recharge with something fun.
We call it 'Recharge Day'.
BUT there's a catch – two, in fact:
- Our team plan what they get up to
- It all has to happen on Packfleet's time, not theirs
"The name's Fleet. Packfleet."
January can always do with a healthy injection of fun.
So, we took a break from Ops, Sales, Engineering and the like to become MI6 agents for the day.
Safe to say, Hidden City's '007 Shadow of Spectre' is a good time.
(And when your social media person is running a day behind the rest of the Internet 🙃)
When your delivery arrives exactly when they said it would...
We use randomly generated tracking phrases for
every Packfleet shipment.
Why?
1) They're far easier to read and remember than a random sequence of numbers.
2) They're occasionally hilarious, wholesome or both.
Here are some HOF contenders
From now on, across our tracking pages, emails and SMS, the merchants we work with can build a seamless, on-brand experience with every delivery.
We're talking brand colours, logo and tone of voice.
The way we look at it, it’s your delivery.
Now, it's delivered your way with your brand ✌️
Every delivery is packed with customer touchpoints. But too often, businesses can’t make them their own.
That means missed opportunities for brand building and delighting customers – round the clock, every day.
Well, not anymore ❌
FEATURE ALERT 🚨
We've built a new way for merchants to own the delivery experience 👇
If a shared interest is uncovered within the Packfleet team, better believe it's getting turned into a club

Introducing Severance Club – complete with its own Slack channel
When we first pitched the idea for Packfleet – before we even had an office – we put the B Corp logo in our slide deck.
We included it to say ‘this is the kind of business we’re going to build’.
We also knew that, one day, it would look pretty cool on our vans.
And we were right 😎
@hugocornejo.com epic quest to redesign our labels looked ... familiar.

There's so much more we could say.
Our custom tracking pages, our very real/human customer support team, our delivery personalisation features – we've done and are doing a lot to build our better way.
