Ah! So they're putting new work into this versus just picking up something that was already in progress. I know they've also done multiple new Spanish-language localizations, so hopefully this means they might also surprise us with work on English versions.
I am one of those stubborn old people who still believes the term "shooter" belongs to the games that originally used that term. 😅

Hmm, interesting. I know this company's first English-language release was a re-translation of Traysia, but I'm not sure offhand who handled that. So don't know if there's a connection between the two, of if they're just grabbing whatever is available (like an unreleased SFT translation).
I’d totally missed this until someone messaged me about it, but NCS Corp’s Mega Drive strategy game Vixen 357 is getting an English-language Western release!
A lot of the late localizations we’ve been getting recently have been shooters, so this is a nice surprise!

I (incorrectly) thought that Netflix was going to work with Sony to get a home release of KPDH out in time to be the hot Christmas gift last year.
Never expected it to go to Criterion, but glad that it now won’t remain stuck in streaming hell (and that we’ll for sure get a proper 4K UHD).
I mean YEAH—it does kinda suck to see a new-era Genesis release hit everything but Genesis first. But, again, I'd rather wait and get a cart that will give me the game I'm supposed to have, rather than find out it's forever got some glitch or problem.
Also—anyone who wanted to play games like Gley Lancer, Eliminate Down, Wily Wars, etc. downloaded the ROMs years ago. There was still demand for the physical releases when they finally came.
I think most of the people who want Earthion physically haven't been phased by waiting. I know I haven't.
In this era of games coming out before they're actually done or fixed, I think the worst situation would have been Gen/MD physical copies hitting day one, only to find out that something was bugged or missing.
Let it come out when the team is sure it's ready, since it can't be patched later.
