It's probably gonna end with a model from Google, an open source alternative and a "We do it differently than Google" one. None of this crap is sustainable. They can scrap the internet when you chat, but it doesn't update the model. New models MUST be released for their reasoning/behavior to update.

llms use tokens. It will try to predict a word with the start you give it, no matter the language. Typos might only add token cost and maybe some confusion but it wouldn't be something critical. Making llms do weird stuff is a lot about context + abusing the data the model learned from.
