The rescheduled match between Levante and Villarreal took place a couple of weeks ago. I went back to check if this AI write-up of the postponed game was still up, and it is - but now it also has the stats and line ups of the rescheduled fixture, making it even more confusing.

Sound of Football Podcast 645 - Throwing in the towel Is an increased reliance on corners and long throws to create goals a cause for concern? Is it something lawmakers should be called on to rectify?

NEW PODCAST: www.sofpodcast.com/2026/03/soun...

Now that goals from corners and long throws are mainstream, is it time the lawmakers did something about them?

Also this week discuss Arsene Wenger's offside idea which has been approved to be trialled in Canada.

Yes, it's all VAR's fault. Again.

Isn’t it a thing that you can remove him from Raiders of the Lost Ark and everything still happens the same.

I never agreed with those who said that Slot had more than his fair share of good luck last season. But to me, it did seem that there was an absence of bad luck in the campaign. It seems to have come back in spades now.

Coming from the mid-80 I'm guessing those TNG graphics might well be physical rather than rendered on a computer. The uppercase "S" and lowercase "a" look exact, to my eye. Any difference might just be font weight or loses in analogue to digital conversion

Bangladesh are currently 2-0 down to China in their Women's Asian Cup opener. Their head coach is former West Ham player Peter Butler. His career journey sounds amazing:

Looking for some players (women or men) that are doing good things off the pitch/are all round good eggs for a new project. Whether it's community/charity work, trying to influence positive change in football, raising awareness of something, or whatever.

Anyone got any suggestions?
