One of the most impactful bits of work I did last year was to use Pydantic models (or dataclasses) everywhere in our codebase, replacing raw dicts. We discovered and eliminated so many key errors and type errors, and developing has been a pleasure ever since.

How much of the sub money does the creator actually receive?

I think it is reasonable for writers to expect some compensation for their knowledge, but at that point you are running a consultancy, not a blog.
