Imagine being Grammarly, which people have used for years and years and generally trust. You impliment AI tools, which no one is really jazzed about because your product starts being WRONG a lot. And then you start feeding peoples work into your system. And advertising them as editors. Just cause.

Grammarly is using our identities without permission Grammarly’s AI stole my boss’s identity.

I happened to be in downtown SF today, so I tried stopping by the Superhuman AI office to ask about the AI “editor” based on me. Unfortunately just got a very nice office manager who said no one was in.

Lots of games people in Grammarly’s pool too besides me…

We are launching a new zine later this year called ZENESIS, featuring comics, prose, articles and more covering Mecha, Sci-fi and Space-Fantasy genres.

Deadline is the end of March.

But she still handed it to me not knowing how I'd take the contents inside or my own thoughts and journey with dysphoria. I think about that a lot, and I'm grateful she handed it over with no hesitation because I loved it.

Anyway, congrats on paperback and I hope you sell tons and tons 👍

All that to say I walked into that airport bookstore pushing a baby in a stroller after having come from a funeral and no sleep, with probably the worst attitude I've had since highschool. The clerk loved the book so much she handed it to an AFAB mom who probably looked mad as hell in hindsight➡️

There's a lot more I could say about it, I'll keep it brief though. The stories inside were lived-in and occasionally comedic and exactly what I needed at the time. "The Masker," especially was my favorite of the bunch, the tone caught me off guard in a great way. ➡️

Yeah I do agree with the rest of your thoughts there -- I'm sure there are people who share code with a team who add comments vivaciously like that but It feels strange when it's something that kinda doesn't need the explaination.
